Takaso Resources Bhd has been renamed to O&C Resources Bhd. In a filing to the exchange yesterday, it said the decision as part of the company’s strategy to re-position itself with a new corporate identity for its existing and future undertakings. The rubber and baby products manufacturer previously diversified its business into the construction industry as they acquired construction company Dynavance Construction Sdn Bhd in October last year. Prior to that, Takaso had acquired a piece of leasehold land in Malacca from Mega Irama Enigma Sdn Bhd for over  RM9 million which the company plans to develop it into a seven-  storey budget hotel with an estimated gross development value of RM134.15 million.
