• Crowned ‘Best Emerging Developer’ and “Innovative Developer”, as diverse properties of The Mate co-lifestyle experience bags ‘Best Modern Lifestyle Development,’ and YOLO Signature Suites win ‘Best Investment Deal Development’

Selangor, 22 September 2022 – Boutique property developer OCR Group Berhad (OCR) was honoured four times over at the ASEAN Property Development Awards (APDA) ceremony today, as its innovative streak to stand out in the competitive property sector shone brightly. 

OCR was crowned the “Best Emerging Developer” and “Innovative Developer”, which was the icing on the cake after two of its property development projects received individual APDA accolades. The Mate, the Group’s co-lifestyle experience in Damansara Jaya, Selangor, bagged the ‘Best Modern Lifestyle Development Award,’ while YOLO Signature Suites in Bandar Sunway, Selangor won the ‘Best Investment Deal Development.’

Clearly elated at the industry recognition, OCR Managing Director Billy Ong attributed the wins to the team’s persistence in showcasing innovative concepts, unique lifestyle elements and enhanced customer-experience components in its properties. These include being among the early proponents of the co-lifestyle experience in Malaysia through The Mate, and offering a co-living rental management solution platform for landlords of YOLO Signature Suites to easily onboard and manage tenants after taking vacant possession of the property.
